From March 2nd to 4th, Extra Transportes was present at SISAB – International Trade Fair for Portuguese Food and Beverage. This is one of the major events dedicated to these areas of activity in the country and was held at the Altice Arena in Lisbon.
SISAB presents itself as the largest platform in the business world in the agri-food sector, with more than 500 exhibitors in this 2020 edition. For these businesses, it is necessary a logistics which require a demand and very particular requirements. Hence the importance of Extra Transportes’ participation in this event since, for this segment, it presents “Taylor Made” solutions framed with the needs of each company and the products it intends to handle.
“Being at SISAB was essential to introduce our Food & Beverages segment to the market. This is a privileged stage for contact with many exporters in this area, as well as people from more than 130 countries”, says Bruno Veiga, Sales Executive at Extra Transportes.
On the first day of SISAB, the company’s stand was pleased to receive the visit of the President of the Republic of Portugal, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
Even in a year where some preventive constraints took place regarding the fight against COVID-19, which included the absence of the event from some risk groups of importers from more sensitive and affected areas by the disease, the balance is positive and reinforces the importance of the participation of the company in this type of branding events.
